The Safe and Sound Pro II RF Meter is a compact, simple to use meter for Radio Frequency / Microwave Radiation (200 MHz to 8Ghz). The meter has been tested and certified by The Nemko Canada Inc Testing Lab in Cambridge Ontario, Canada.

NOTE FROM MANUFACTURER: "Our previous testing sessions were conducted at a highly respected university testing facility by a professor with a PHD in RF design. We also used an engineering company as the liaison between us and the professor as this is a highly technical subject area. Everything went well and there was no reason for us to question these results.

Using the standardized testing method over five sessions at two testing facilities, we identified a discrepancy with the university lab testing sessions. Repeated testing confirmed that the new test results are more accurate than the university lab results. During the latest tests, the Safe and Sound Pro II consistently tested with a +/- 6 dB tolerance between 400 MHz and 7.2 GHz and provides reasonable response from 200MHz to 8 Ghz. This covers the low and mid 5G bands quite nicely, as well as the new WiFi6 band. This updated frequency range applies to the Safe and Sound Classic as well.

During these lab sessions, we also had the opportunity to test meters from other brands using the same method. Based on all of the testing results, we are confident the Safe and Sound Pro II is the best consumer meter at its price point, and that its range covers the vast majority of signals in the home.

Based on this additional testing, we will be labeling the Safe and Sound Pro II and Safe and Sound Classic as 200MHz – 8GHz. We are printing new labels and new manuals. Nothing inside either meter is changing at this time."
